I got a neat surpise today:

The Wisconsin Historical Society is putting up a feature news item on the Madison 150th time capsule and we were looking for a skyline image. We selected your image [shown above].

The image will be on our home page tomorrow at www.wisconsinhistory.org.

Wow! Little ole me, with an image that's going to be around for a long time. It's cool because I bought a print of the isthmus in 1908 for Kris' birthday. Makes you wonder things will be like 150 years from now.

UPDATE: False Alarm! More from the Society:

Thanks for the quick response. I wish we COULD place your image in the Time Capsule, but that part of the city-run project is closed and not up to us. Our need for the image is as part of a blog entry to promote going to the Wisconsin Historical Museum to vote on the Time Capsule finalists.

Still, it's cool to have it featured on the site.
